Re: Compiling Archives for a Professional Association



The Central New York Library Resources Council Documentary Heritage
Committee put out a very concise (9 pages!) and clear booklet entitled
"Documenting Community Organizations."  It's an excellent place to start.
For instance, under the heading "Board Files," one of the categories is
"Officers' files (arranged by year), including annual and special reports,
important correspondence, budget and income/expense reports."

I have no idea if it is still good (I got this about 10 years ago), but the
contact info listed in the booklet is
