interesting fund raising idea

I was at the Franklin D. Roosevelt library on Saturday for a tree
lighting ceremony (Eleanor was there to push the button, with Fala,
and I got to pet Fala! but I digress...) We went in to visit the
museum, and out of habit, I checked out the gift shop. They are in the
process of rehousing their archival material into archivally correct
containers, and in the gift shop have the old archival boxes for sale
for $5.00 each, with the money going to educational pograms. The
boxes are tan, and have nice lettering to the effect that they are
property of the Franklin D. Roosevelt presidential library, plus spine
labels saying what was in the box. Of course, I suppose that there
would not be so much of a market for non-archival quality archival
boxes stamped that they are property of the Podunk U archives, but
it's an interesting idea, and local people might be interested.
