Another factor to consider for privately funded organizations. If you are
incorporated the rules of incorporation (as established by the state in
which you are incorporated) will most probably define where and when the
membership/stockholders can view the minutes. Generally though if the
organization is private (incorporated or not) the minutes should be
available only to the membership/stockholders.
