Re: Another Archive recruiters/Job hunting
Hello all,
Been lurking on this list for a couple years now and this thread sounds like it is going to become another "Chicken Cannon" story line.
To add my two bits, I just got the desired archival training along with my MLS, found a job as a librarian in my home area, and now work teaching the public how to use our computers. My job search criteria was finding a place where I could make a real contribution, have real stability, and still become involved in all of the work related activities I've trained myself for.
I was willing to go where ever I had too [I owe too much money on this education to do otherwise].
