Re: shelving

Manual compact shelves are absolutely wonderful, but I wouldn't give 2 cents for the electronic
ones.

As far as area is concerned, measure the width and length of an average aisle in your current
shelving. How many aisles do you have? Well, with compact shelving, you will only have one. So, if x
= the width of an aisle, if y = the length of an aisle, and if z = the number of aisles you have,
then xyz - xy = the area you will save by installing compact shelving.

Make sure the floor is properly stressed to support it. There are codes.

I hope this helps.
