Re: FW: Laws Relating to Governor's Papers

A few years ago Virginia governor George Allen tried to have certain papers
of his sealed when he left office; he was called on that one and the papers
were "unsealed" and taken to the Library od Virginia for appropriate
"processing." The concerns were negotiations dealing with trying to bring
Disney to Manassas for living history/amusement park kinda thing. The
resulting fiasco was known in Virginia as the third battle of Manassas. But
I'm rushing off just now and will leave it to someone else for details--I
wasn't directly involved and others would know more of the details. Now
whether they'd be willing to discuss it, or even acknowledge it... well, I
couldn't say.
