web vendors again

I apologize for not being completely clear in my
inquiry I sent yesterday at 5PM.nI should know
better than to try to think clearly at that time
of the day.

More details about our situation:
The institution maintains a museum with several
galleries, a gift shop, an education department,
a PR department (the whole package). We also
maintain a separate building for our library and
archival collections which are vast. Our library
catalog is availabble online via a link to the
cataloging software vendor's web access service.

We have no IT department and no hardware. We
currently out-source all of our web site to a
local "business to business" internet business.
this works fine for PR but we have much more
information that we would like to place on the
www. And, having so many different functions,
need a vendor that can see the different needs of
each department. Does such a vendor exist?

Yes, our insitution does realize that it needs to
invest in the hardware and personnel. We do not
need collection managment assistance, only
assistance in sharing our knowledge with the
public. We are trying to cover all alternatives
possible.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Kristina
