storing framed items
You might want to take into concideration how the item
is mounted when deciding which side to stand it on
during storage. If it's mounted with brads or
conservation corners, it shouldn't make a difference,
but if it's mounted with philmoplast or linen tape or
rice paper you want to make sure it's stored up-right.
Otherwise you'll risk having the object pull away
from the mounting due to gravity. Also, is it matted,
and is the matting hinge mounted? That'll pull away
too, and you'll have to open it up to fix it.
