DC Are question- Audio visual help

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone can help me. A donor gave us several 16mm films
but we don't have anything to view the films on to see if we want the films
or not. I tried the MLK library but I was told I needed a room and I needed
a group (it's just me, little old me) to get a room, so dead end there.
Does anyone know where I can go to view our films and U-Matic tapes to see
if they are worth accessioning and transferring?
Thanks
M Marie Maxwell
