Re: Vacancy Announcement, Archivist, GA State Univ.
I placed a quick call to the number listed on the announcement. It is indeed a
20 hr/week position. $17k - $22k annually for part-time work is a decent
professional salary, particularly for an entry-level position. So fear not,
fellow archivists, this is not another case of not being valued for the work
that we do.
The 40 hr/week error was corrected on their website:
