Re: strange reference questions



Jeff, my now-retired secretary and I used to have a different (and more
cynical) theory.  We always thought that after they'd found "Maine, State
of" in the phone book, they started scrolling down the agencies looking for
the one that might be able to help.  They knew they didn't want
"Agriculture."  Guess which agency is listed next?

"A is for Archives!" we used to say to each other on especially bad days.
