Re: strange reference questions



One of my regular clients insists that our filing system be designed to make
everything as convenient for him as possible - regardless of time, cost and
hassle of doing it or dealing with the consequences. He also agreed to the
"no food or drink" rule and then, on one occasion, came back in with a huge
bage of french fries and what looked like a gallon of soda.

And then there are those lovely folks who want me to copy "everything [we]
have on earthmoving equipment" and then get upset when I calmly explain
what's entailed in photocopying the contents of numerous file cabinets and
records boxes.

And I'm sure just about all of us get those indignant complaints about us
not having every page and photo in the collections on the Internet already.
