Two Questions

I've been waiting for someone else from the northeast to weigh in, but I
guess it's up to me. There were a couple of POW camps in northern Maine.
Some prisoners picked potatoes; others worked in the woods. There is a
story about escapees similar to the one we've already heard, except in this
case it was the northern Maine woods in winter. Again, they were _very_
happy to be re-captured.

I can think of two fiction books written on the Maine POW camps
A Brother's Blood by Michael White. Mystery.
A penny for a hundred by Pochocki, Ethel, 1925- Juvenile Fiction

The POW camp in Maine put out a newspaper.
