citations: EAD vs HTML

Hi folks!

Another request for citations (and thanks to all who responded to my last
one):

When EAD first came out, there was a fairly significant level of controversy
about whether to use (or continue using) HTML or to use/switch to EAD. There
are lots of published and online references to EAD, but did anyone publish
something on the HTML/EAD choice, especially from the HTML side? There were
several SAA sessions on that specific topic, but I haven't been able to find
anything in writing.

In case you're wondering--we're working on a new edition of the SAA Museum
Archives Basic Manual and are at the point of checking and beefing up the
footnotes!

Many thanks,
Deborah
