Computer generated prints

We have received some computer generated prints, and some questions have come up concerning the cataloging of these items and I am turning to the list for guidance.

A simple object type is print, but if we want to be more specific to distinguish these prints from other items with the basic object type print, should we use the term digital print, inkjet print, computer print, or laser print?

The medium, which here, the emphasis is on medium and support, should it be something like inkjet, color electrostatic print on paper, dye transfer inkjet sublimation?

Also does anyone know what a person should look for to tell the difference between and inkjet print and a laser print?  How does one know if a print was created by dye transfer inkjet sublimation?  Does anyone know of a reference book which defines these processes clearly?

If you are cataloging images generated by computer what data are you capturing in fields similar to the ones I have noted here?  Any help the list can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
