I forgot to mention that Eph. 4:8-10 is interesting for showing the
participle's value for relative tense. ANABAS (aorist participle) from
Ps. 68 is quoted in v. 8, then referenced with an article marking
quotation and an *aorist indicative* represents the participle: TO DE
ANEBH in v. 9. Then substantive participle O ANABAS is used again in v.
10.
