Dear colleagues,

I would like to ask you a practical question. Recently I changed Windows 3.11
for Windows 95. "Plug+n play" ideology resulted in a week of desperate struggle
to make all my previous applications to work, the struggle that wasn+t always
successful. For Greek I used a small program called BETA that allowed to type
Greek characters with diacritics in CCAT format (e.g., it changed the combination
+A`/+ for alpha with accent and aspiration). It was valid for Latin and Hebrew
haracters as well. I am sure that there is such a program (keyboard driver, if I call it
correctly) for Win 95 but I haven+t seen it so far. If you know it, could you tell me where
I can get it, or even send me a zipped version if it+s not too long, or at least to share
your experience how do you type Greek and Hebrew texts in Windows 95? I work with
WinWord 7, but the technology should be similar for all the processors.

As I am not a constant reader of B-GREEK, could you please respond to my private
address, or just send me a copy if you wish to send your message to the group?

Thank you for your attention,

Andre Desnitsky, PhD
