Re: A Graded Reader keyed to Duff's Grammar

The Greek Font Society has a selection of very nice free fonts from various periods that support polytonic. Many of them are Open Font License. Here's a link: https://www.greekfontsociety-gfs.gr/typefaces Thanks for that link, Devenios. It has quite a variety of different and interesting fonts, inc...

Re: A Graded Reader keyed to Duff's Grammar

You do need a font that supports polytonic Greek to display polytonic Greek text. I don't think there are that many. I've picked for this document Alegreya which is Open Fonts Licensed and available from Google Fonts here: https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Alegreya but, Susan, if you have SBL BibLi...

Re: Extended Greek Passage to Memorize

I'd second the Psalms and also suggest the rest of Matthew 5-7; Romans 5:1-11; 1 Corinthians 13; 15:1-11; Philippians 2:5-11; Exodus 20:1-21.

Audio for the whole Greek Bible (modern pronunciation, ancient text, quite fast) is available here: http://listen.bible.is/GRKEPT/Matt/5

Re: Understanding copyright of personal greek translation wo

The lack of a freely licensed, high-quality English translation drives me nuts, I could really use one for parallel aligned syntax trees, and other people could use them to produce other high-quality resources for people using original languages. If anyone knows of a good one, please do let me know...
