I read it when it came out and remember liking it. It's Sydney Lamb's neuro-cognitive framework, so it's a bit different compared to typical Berkley cognling

His appendix about the relationship between linguistics and biblical studies at the end, though, should really be required reading for lots and lots of students.

He also works from a relevance theory view as well. I read it about a year back but found it very useful and played into my thoughts at the beginning of this post about looking at force of an imperative
