Dear friends,
I'm far from understanding everything in this book in Detail and I'm not through as well - but what I could read already is simply terrific and much the best on word order or pragmatic effects of Hyperbata I've read so far. It's made for classical Greek but you can Transfer the results on the text of the NT as well. The authors did a great Job - without much speculation, everything is being attested by clear examples (and translated as well). The title is: "Discontinuous Syntax: Hyperbaton in Greek"
If I have the time - I read it again....
Yours
Peter

Dear Mike,
that's what I call interesting - thanks for your review and the transfer to the NT - exactly that was my aim, after finishing the Hyperbaton-book, namely to look for NT examples and try to decode and classify them. I've gone through all your texts and exampels - a great job, thank you !
At least one who is interested in this important book !
Yours
Peter
