Thayer's lexicon

Post by Jonathan Robie »

I've been looking at Thayer's lexicon a little, and it seems pretty useful.

If I'm looking for lexicons that are before 1923, is this one of the best?

Thayer's is a translation of Grimm. It was good for its time, and the general problem with out-of-copyright dictionaries is that they are too old to take the papyri into account in a major way.
