Hi,
I am trying to find out which resource lists the roots of Greek words. I was specifically trying to find verb roots. I thought that they would be in BDAG, but I cannot find them listed there. Where would such information be found? Thank you.

There are published dictionaries of varying quality for just this purpose.

A Indo-European linguist, Matthew Scarborough, has an excellent site surveying them and their usefulness/accuracy.

Also: it looks like you need to contact a moderator for a name change--we have a real name policy here at B-Greek.

Depending on what you mean by "roots" and "Greek words", you might be looking for an "analytical lexicon," where you can look up a Greek word as you find it written in a sentence, and it will tell you what its lexical form (root) is, and how it has been inflected. e.g. ἠλθον, 1 pers. sing. and 3 pers. pl. aor. 2, ind. ... ἐρχομαι
