σπαράσσω in Newman's revised Dictionary

Hi,
I'm wondering if someone who has access to Barclay Newman's revised Greek-English Dictionary (2010) could confirm whether or not the entry for σπαράσσω has been changed at all from "throw into convulsions"?
This meaning seems quite widespread nowadays as a supposed contextual meaning (BDAG resists this meaning).
Thanks in advance,
Tim Lewis
