Here's more evidence that the future foretold has arrived (ἤγγικεν ὁ καῖρος ...?).

On Mark Hoffmann's blog, "Biblical Studies and Technological Tools", he tells us that " ... I am quite aware of the various arguments about how Greek should be taught and the pros/cons of Bible software, but we have decided to make Bible software an integral part of our Greek instruction." It's an interesting discussion of how required use of Biblical Software is to be integrated into the learning of Biblical Greek (and Hebrew):

Bible Software Decisions: Accordance, BibleWorks, Logos, et al.

(the URL formulation does not mean that this school is promoting Accordance over other Biblical software packages.

Glad to hear the disclaimer but I had difficulty finding evidence of application or understanding of SLA.

I can understand the direction that seminaries are moving because current practices tend to teach people to parse and discuss English reference grammars. Spanish Lit might be reduced to Computer Cervantes, too, if 'Seminary Spanish' was the status quo and goal of Spanish.
