Bill Mounce on χρόνος and "glosses"

Post by cwconrad »

In a blog entry at "Koinonia" today entitled, "How Can “Time” Mean “Delay”? - Rev 10:6" (http://www.koinoniablog.net/2011/09/mounce.html), Bill Mounce comments on an unexpected usage of χρονος in Rev 10:6 and, more importantly, uses this note to call attention to the importance of reading full lexical entries rather than looking for "glosses."
(Xenophanes, Fragment 16)
