For those interested I have a parsed Greek reader on my website -- free to use. I have an online license with the Society of Biblical Literature for their Greek NT. Each word of the NT is parsed, glossed and has usage stats. It's searchable by inflected word or lemma within the book, author's writings or the entire NT. I recommend using a Chrome browser -- but other browsers seem to work well. Feedback on your experience and particular device/platform would be greatly appreciated.

Very nice. What is your source for glosses?

Very nice, indeed. Clean, clear, and simple.
You parsed the WHOLE New Testament! Wow.

The short answer is that it's a hodgepodge of various works filtered for brevity.NathanSmith wrote:What is your source for glosses?
It has been over 2 years ago since I worked on the glosses. (My recall is facilitated by going back and reading my twitter feed from that time

The glossing is a working solution to the issue of not knowing an occasional word in a sentence. The intended nature of the glossing is not that an individual should use it on each word -- for then it would be but a digital interlinear, but that it would be used in some sense as a reader's lexicon -- its use being limited to the occurrence where the meaning of a word escapes reader. It is not designed to facilitate the full range of word study. Likewise, it is not intended to be crutch to keep one from learning the Greek language as the notion that word meaning can be reduced to a single gloss -- or even couple of glosses -- is inimical to the acquisition of real insight of how a language works -- as always -- "context is king" when it comes to meaning.
