Sadly the current site, and this older link listed below on the b-greek mailing list no longer work.

https://lists.ibiblio.org/pipermail/b-g ... 28554.html

I wonder if anyone is aware of a way to obtain the 1995 articles?

(I know we can purchase the entire series in Logos, but I'd like to avoid that if possible. Most of my journal collection is in Accordance, and who wants to search in two software programs every time you need to do a search)

Sadly, the older issues/volumes were never available on the website. That's always been a gap.

Jacob,

There was a period of time decades ago when a lot of those articles from various Biblical studies journals were on the web and not behind a pay wall. I sampled dozens of them and tentatively concluded that I was wasting my time. Generally speaking, there are exceptions, the stuff worth reading gets published in a book. Where I live any book can be obtained without charge through inter-library loan. I can have up to 20 ILL books a month. I've never bumped up against that limit.

Some monographs have an incredible shelf life. For example Bo Reicke's dissertation The Disobedient Spirits and Christian Baptism published in 1946 is still regularly cited. I don't have time to read everything in the journals. I look for works in the same class with Bo Reicke's book.

Thanks for your replies, much appreciated!

I would have passed over this article, but the title suggests it is directly related to a topic I am researching, and it is frequently cited in quite a number of books and articles, including works from Porter and Fanning.

Hatina, T.R. 1995 `The Perfect Tense-Form in Recent Debate: Galatians as a Case Study', FN 8: 3-22

Sadly, with regards to inter-library loan's, it appears this journal is not in any library in Australia.

Actually, some older issues used to be online, including this one. You can still access them with the Wayback Machine at Archive.org, although it's a bit of a hassle.

Try clicking on this link, or if that fails, search the Wayback Machine for the URL http://www.bsw.org/?l=72081&a=Art01.html.

Sometimes writing personally to the author of an article produces a helpful result.
Dr Hatina is apparently on the faculty of Trinity Western University, Canada. https://www.twu.ca/profile/thomas-r-hatina

That is ingenious, thanks!

Thanks Tony, I've never done that before, but I have heard of people having success with this option.

In my experience, scholars are quite happy to share copies of their articles if they've saved a copy of it. Older articles and book chapters are a little iffy-er.
