Perhaps at first sight, Stephen Leacock's story "Sunshine Sketches of a Little Town" may not seem to have any relevance to the Greek language.
However, the humourist does point out some pitfalls that students of Greek might make.
I am referring to the fourth chapter on "The Ministrations of the Rev. Mr. Drone" where Mr. Drone has a fixation on the Greek texts and abuses it in his preaching.
The whole book is a good read, but I think the fourth chapter is priceless ... and should be required reading for all Greek scholars.
