Poll: how good is your Greek?
I'd like to get a feeling for the range of levels we have on B-Greek. Let us know what level your Greek is - results are anonymous.

Re: Poll: how good is your Greek?
I read New Testament Greek, but regularly need a lexicon
but I can't figure out how to reply how to respond to this poll -- I'd have thought there would be a multiple choice thingy -- I see the results so far, but only see "reply" as a response option. possibly it's my browser?
I got here by clicking on the link in my email digest...

You have to log in to vote, but once you are logged in you should be able to see the choices and pick one. What do you see when you log in and look at the poll?

I was able to get to the poll and vote by going through the index, Other.
But when I just clicked on the link from my email, even when I logged in, it just took me here, to where I could "reply."
I'm set now -- just thought others might end up here as well.
Thanks!

Re: Poll: how good is your Greek?
Just a bit of a quibble here: do we really want to say that the measure of "how good one's Greek is" is how well one reads the GNT?Jonathan Robie wrote:I'd like to get a feeling for the range of levels we have on B-Greek. Let us know what level your Greek is - results are anonymous.
That might make a bit more sense if the question were, "How good is one's Biblical Greek"? What about such LXX texts as 3 and 4 Maccabees? But if the question really is, "How good is your Greek?" -- or even, "How good is your ancient Greek?" --, the GNT is a minuscule corpus even of Hellenistic literature. Perhaps the question should have been formulated, "How well do you read the GNT?"
