I have been on this list off and on since about 2005. Some on this list may remember that I used to go by my initials "J.C." I have explained the change at http://jcbaker.wordpress.com

I completed my PhD in New Testament at Brite Divinity School under Carolyn Osiek and Warren Carter. I am currently adjunct professor biblical studies at Tarrant County College in Fort Worth Texas and adjunct online professor of New Testament at Grand Canyon University. I am on the job market, seeking a full-time position.

My doctoral dissertation on the narrative characterization of Peter and Paul in Acts, in which I combine social identity and narrative theories into a "narrative-identity" model is being published by WIpf and Stock, and should be available on their website within the next couple of weeks.

Since I am not in an academic program and do not currently teach Greek, this board is a great way for me to stay active in discussions of Greek.

Glad to be on this board again!

Cheers,
Coleman
