My name is Tommy, and I'm currently in my third year of Greek at the University of Louisville (we're going through Herodotus this semester). I'm a history major, but plan on applying for the graduate program at the University of the Free State in South Africa, where one of my mentors is getting his Ph.D. in Hebrew. Using those degrees, I want to teach pastors in Nigeria how to read the GNT, and how to apply that knowledge theologically. I look forward to conversing with you!

Welcome aboard, Tommy.

Sounds like a lot of hard work ahead of you. But, I'm sure it will be worth it in the end. Just remember that B-Greek isn't for theological discussions, and all will be great. We've got a large community of readers and contributors who come from varied backgrounds.

I've never heard of the university in South Africa. Have you ever traveled to Israel?

Good luck!

Jason
