(Re?)introduction by Alan King

Post by Alan R King »

I suspect I already introduced myself here once but it was some time ago and to be honest I never got around to using the forum much; I think maybe I was too busy working to remember to. Here is a reminder and update. I am working on the direct translation of the Bible from the original languages into Nawat, an endangered indigenous language of Central America (El Salvador to be precise). This is an independent project (not funded by SIL or anything). As of now the New Testament is completed and available on-line (http://nebibliaj.org), and I am working on Genesis this year: doing that from Hebrew, but I will consult the LXX so Greek is still one of the working languages! More info on my work and the Nawat language at http://alanrking.info . Oh and I live in the Basque Country - I've added myself to the forum map today.
