Hi all-
I grew up in the United States and now live in Leipzig, Germany. I came as an exchange student in 2001, quickly met a pretty German girl, and came back after finishing my BA in creative writing. Now I am married with 2 kids and work in the field of languages. I became a Christian in 2006 and studied Greek, Latin and Hebrew at our local university for personal enrichment. Latin was quickly forgotten, Hebrew is iffy, but my love affair with Greek continues. Glad to be aboard.

Erik, welcome. Being in love with Greek is a good thing. Forgetting Latin is not... But we'll forgive you since this is the B-Greek forum.

Leipzig is also home to a great deal of Classical Greek research, it's where Gregory Crane now works. So it's a great place to be for both Greek and Latin.
