Intro: Daniel Ransom

Post by dransom »

Good morning, my name is Daniel, and I am a church-planting missionary working in Central Italy. I'm married, with 3 children and a fourth due to arrive soon.

I've studied Greek in the past, but did not do very well (primarily due to a lack of self-discipline). So now, I'm playing catch-up.

Thank you for this resource!

Previous knowledge of a subject is a good starting point for a successful outcome. If you don't feel able to buckle down, a less intense application of yourself to the subject might work better. Getting a different balance between acquiring the language, rather than following the traditional way of learning the grammar abstractly may suit you.

Stephen, thank you for the reply.

When you talk about a different balance acquiring the language (as opposed to the traditional way), what do you have in mind?

Thanks!
