I am a teaching pastor in north metro Atlanta, GA and an Adjunct Professor of Religion and Philosophy for Brewton-Parker College (one of Georgia's State Baptist liberal arts colleges). I am also a member of the Advisory Council, The Aréopagus Christian Study Center here in Atlanta, and a member of the Editorial Review Board of Missional Press.

B.A. (Christian Studies), North Greenville University, 1997, where I had four semesters of NT Greek.
Adv. M. Div (Theology), The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, 2001, where I had NT Greek grammar, syntax, exegesis, and textual criticism. (And where I also knew Randall Tan!)

In my life before seminary and pastoral ministry, my training was in counterterrorism and hostile fugitive apprehension, and I had a career in law enforcement, serving eight of those years as a SWAT operator. … Greek was harder! :o

Thanks to Randall for pointing me to this forum.
