i have been trying to teach myself greek for some time now. i have maybe four or five books from which i have tried. all have helped in some way, but my biggest problem is learning things like the tense, voice, mood, and case. i can pretty much pronounce the words i'm reading, but don't quite know their meaning. if anyone can help, it would be greatly be appreciated. thank you.

Re: Charlie Krummreich
Greetings, Charlie, we have a fair amount of resource people on this list, including self-learners who can share with you what has worked for them. It might help if you tell us what books you have used and how you have approached the subject. There is a forum specifically devoted to learning and teaching Greek where it might be best to post your response.
