I have a BA in Biblical Studies from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas, wherein I focused on NT and LXX Greek. I have on occasion taught Greek in small group, individual, church, or home-group settings, using "living" or natural-language methodology, with some surprising success disproportionate to either my expectations or my CV so far. I used a variety of textbook resources according to what best addressed a given student's learning style, linguistic background, or the current lesson, and standardized on monotonic Greek with the "modern" accent. I would be glad to share my biases and experience in that regard privately to anyone interested.
I have a successful career in a non-related field, but I harbor some obscure research interests and the desire to sometime complete a PhD and do some writing and teaching. While a member of B-Greek for something like ten years now, I am infrequently active at this time. Yet here I am for anyone who would like to make contact. I also have a few useful items on my website http://www.curtishinson.com
