Re: ἀλλ’ οὐδὲ in Origen

I have found another translation of Origen's:

αἰσχρὸν γὰρ γυναικὶ λαλεῖν ἐν ἐκκλησίᾳ, καὶ διδάσκειν δὲ γυναικὶ οὐκ ἐπιτρέπω ἁπλῶς ἀλλ’ οὐδὲ αὐθεντεῖν ἀνδρός.

in Roger Gryson's 'The ministry of women', as quoted at Michael Marlowe's site:

'For [as Paul declares] "I do not permit a woman to teach," and even less "to tell a man what to do.'

which supports Professor Conrad's view that the author sees αὐθεντεῖν ἀνδρός as the more serious impropriety, and also I think my point that in English at least one has to do something - such as adding 'less' as here - to give it that sense.
