First my specific question:
12:1 Πᾶς δὲ ὁ ἐρχόμενος ἐν ὀνόματι Κυρίου δεχθήτω. ἔπειτα δὲ δοκιμάσαντες αὐτὸν γνώσεσθε σύνεσιν γὰρ ἕξετε δεξιὰν καὶ ἀριστεράν.
It seems that there are some interesting variations on how to translate certain passages in the Didache. Does this seem reasonable clunky English? Aside from intuition, is there support anywhere for taking "right and left" as "right and wrong":
"Then testing him, you will recognise/know (if he is of the Lord), for you have understanding—right and left.
Finally, is there a good "go to" resource for these type of questions in the Didache?
