G1096 Ginomai - meaning of the word

Hello; My name is Natan Teixeira, I'm from Brazil.
2 Thessalonians 2:7 (LEB)
"For the mystery of lawlessness is at work already; only the one who now restrains will do so until he is out of the way"
I need some help in the meaning of this word (Ginomai) and the way It is translated here in this passage. In almost all versions this text puts this word to mean something being taking out of the way, almost as something tangible being removed from one place. In my studies I've seen that this is the only place where this word is given this meaning.
In the Greek Lexicon these are some of the meanings given for this word: "I come into being, am born, become, come about, happen"; Its givens even the meaning of something being "reveled".
In my understanding the correct meaning of this passage would be of something or one being brought into the open, being manifested, reveled, as opposed to being removed from place. But I'm no theologian. If someone could give me better understanding in this It would help a lot.
Thanks.
