Abram K-J has started a Facebook group to read through Rahlfs' Isaiah in a year, beginning with the liturgical new year, at a rate of 5 verses per day, 5 days per week.
The Facebook group is at https://www.facebook.com/groups/461575637214732/
Perhaps we can work together!

Thanks. I signed up. I haven't spent too much time reading the LXX, so this should be great. :)

I believe I'll participate as well, though not via Facebook.

The kickoff date is today! I've joined also. This is a great chance to work through a group reading one of the major prophets in the LXX. And also a great chance to compare the Greek to the Hebrew and vice-versa and stay on top/update one's Hebrew in addition to Greek.

The group utilizes both Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/groups/461575637214732/) and FaithLife (a Logos software associate) https://faithlife.com/greek-isaiah-in-a-year/documents. The intro page to a previous reading group in 2012 lists the many resources available on Abram KJ's blog titled Greek Isaiah in a Year: the reading plan, free online LXX texts, and more resources at http://abramkj.com/2012/12/01/greek-isa ... resources/.

What other option do you (and I) have?

A note of clarification: 2014 will in fact be our third time through Greek Isaiah! The first time was here on B-Greek; in 2013 it was on the Facebook group. For 2014 (starting today), it will again be on the Facebook group. The FaithLife group was brought in simply to enable sharing of the reading plan in Logos Bible Software, and I'm not expecting much discussion to happen there.
Facebook was chosen as the venue for 2013 because it would require the least hassle for signing up, assuming most people already have a FB account. Abram K-J ran it last time. Now for 2014, Abram has handed the administration over to Brian Davidson.
For those who don't want to use Facebook for this purpose, feel free to post your comments and questions here in B-Greek's "Series on Isaiah."

Isaiah in a Year is major undertaking. The textual critical issues alone are daunting. There was a time when I thought you could just read the published modern edition and not worry about the text but my recent experience reading the much shorter Agamemnon of Aeschylus indicated that you can't really ignore TC if you intend to understand what you are reading using commentaries and so forth.
