Well that's a definite mark against that being the right label here.
It's not my preferred usage, but I thought it was reasonably common to be recognized. There is a bit of a terminological chaos going on here.

Well, here's the closest, I've found to a true "intensive" perfect in Rijksbaron's conception in the Koine (though I'm not looking extensively, I just came across it in the midst of research):
Judith 8:30 wrote:ὁ λαὸς δεδίψηκεν σφόδρα

In this case, διψάω does not normally form a perfect at all, which suggests that it perhaps isn't merely σφόδρα only that causes the intensive sense.
