List of single-instance words in the NT by book?

Post by klitwak » December 3rd, 2015, 1:21 am

I'm looking for a convenient list of the words that only occur one time in the GNT by book. Does anyone know of such a resource? Thanks.

If you know Microsoft Access, you can download my NTDatabase3.mdb http://www.letsreadgreek.org/resources/NTDatabase3.mdb and find that information by querying one the NT texts. There are Greek vocabulary textbooks which may also contain this information. My database is about 7 years old, so I'm sure there are a lot of better ways to find this information.

Check this before trusting it, but here's a list of single-instance words in the NT, listed by book/chapter/verse.

I created it from Nestle1904 using this query:

Code: Select all

for $word in //w
let $lemma := $word/@lemma
group by $lemma
where count($word) = 1
order by $word/@morphId
return
   <word>
    {
        $word/@osisId,
        $word/@lemma
    }
   </word>
