I received the following helpful response from Eleanor Dickey:
Yes, they existed; there's a list of them (mixed with other stuff) in the back of my book Learning Latin the Ancient Way, and that book includes some examples of such lexica. More can be found in J. Kramer, Glossaria Bilinguia I and II.

I had received a reply too in which she also mentioned a certain work, Corpus Glossariorum Latinorum, by Georg Goetz.
