Is there a manuscript <300AD which preserves IHSOU(S)?

Dear all,

Who knows their manuscripts? I ask your help!

I understand that the nomen sacrum iota-sigma means IHSOUS.
I am looking for a <300AD manuscript that spells out Joshua/Jesus as IHSOUS. I have consulted the Septuagint and know the forms in which it is typically found in printed works: IHSOU (Genitive), IHSOUS (Nom.) IHSOUN (Acc.), IHSOI (Dat.), but when I consult <300AD manuscripts themselves, I've so far not found any of these, but only the nomen sacrum standing for each.

It is said that the nomina sacra (for Jesus/Joshua at least) are a Christian scribal tradition. So I'm looking for Christian LXX manuscripts which fail in their consistency to use the tradition at least once for this name, or for Jewish LXX manuscript which write the name in full (because they had no intent to mark the name specially as a divine name).

Kind regards,
Garth Grenache, Australia.

I am most familiar with Codex Sinaiticus, so I will speak to that manuscript, which is admittedly half a century later than 300 CE. Jongkind has the relevant data in Scribal Habits of Codex Sinaiticus, 69
The name appears uncontracted three times in Haggai, plus Col. 4:11and Mark 16:6. You can view Sinaiticus at http://www.codexsinaiticus.com/
For an earlier instance, check Chester Beatty VI at Numbers 27:18.

Also, I might recommend the thread on nomina sacra, at viewtopic.php?f=6&t=226 , for further references.s

Thanks very much Ken :)
Can you or anyone direct me to a source (preferably a link) to where I can view the Chester Beatty VI at Numbers 27:18?
That would be greatly appreciated :)

I would expect Bob Kraft to have included a link if it were available online, at http://ccat.sas.upenn.edu/rak//earlylxx ... plist.html

Thanks Ken!
That's a great resource.
Chester Beatty VI on Num 27:18 is not there as a link to the image, so I guess it's not online.
I have sent an e-mail to the Chester Beatty Library requesting an image.
