My name's Daniele, I'm from Italy and I currently live in Japan. I started studying Ancient Greek a few years ago and I've recently bought Dickey's textbook.

While searching for the exercises' keys on the web I've stepped into this extremely useful collection of answers: I was thus wondering if I may contribute by extending the current threads to chapters 5 onwards (I didn't want to start opening threads of my own free will, so I thought it'd be better to ask first).

Thank you in advance: it's a real pleasure to join your great community.
The group kinda just fluttered out. Is it something you’d like to work on?

Hi Everyone, I'm glad this thread has been revived. Like Daniele, I've been learning Ancient Greek for a few years. I joined this forum more than a year ago, but I've not been using it until I started working on Dickey's Prose Comp a month ago. I'm currently at the 'Sentences' section in Chapter 2, going at roughly 2 weeks per chapter with all the reading and vocab+principal parts learning. I've been benefitting a lot from comparing my answers against yours, and I'd be happy to contribute to the discussions and answer pool, too.

Thank you,

Enosh

Honestly, I’d love a restart. I haven’t opened the book in ages — and I’ve been working through Athenaze (third English edition and Italian edition) on Zoom with someone every Monday. We’re in chapter 23 at this point. I’d love to get back into Dickey and see if I can make some better progress. Would you guys like to meet on Zoom every week or every other week to go over things orally and discuss our translation decisision and thoughts?

That's great! Yes, I'm up for meeting on Zoom. I know at least one other person who would be interested in doing that starting January. And, I'm hoping to catch up to Chapter 5 by New Year.

I live near Vancouver, Canada, in the Pacific Time Zone, but I wake up early, so I can be flexible.
