I'd like to use this thread to point to images or collections of images that are particularly helpful for teaching Greek, especially simple line drawings and culturally appropriate photos.
I am also keeping track of these images in a pinterest album here:

I will point out especially good finds here.

Re: Finding images for teaching Greek
http://www.freebibleimages.org has sets of Bible scenes reenacted. You can search for images by book of the Bible (e.g. Luke), character (e.g. Eutychus), or theme (e.g. parables). There are lots of really good images here, and the people's faces have expression. They have both photos and illustrations.
There are albums for individual stories from the Bible that could be really helpful when teaching a particular story.
Their usage policy:

If you want to use images for other purposes, you have to track down the license. They don't say exactly what they mean by "teaching".These resources are free for teaching purposes – no strings attached.

The Wikimedia Commons has a huge number of images, all freely licensed. One set of about images was released by the PikiWiki group from Israel. Some of these are very nice.

Re: Finding images for teaching Greek
Google Image Search lets you search for images that are licensed for reuse under Creative Commons. This can be really helpful, you don't have to worry as much about legal restrictions. The downsides: (1) it's harder to find sets of images that have the same visual look and feel, (2) it's hard to find sets of images for a given story, (3) you have to sort through lots of chaff to find some wheat, (4) most images are not historically accurate.

The metadata τῆς εἰκόνος τῆς ἅλωνος says "Santorini", = ἡ θήρα (which today rhymes with "door" so Greeks like Santorini),Jonathan Robie wrote:
