This one looks like βουλονται to me, which also happens to be the reading in GA-02.

I am in agreement with everything suggested so far in round 1, which takes care of these words:

αλεκτυων, αλεκτρυων
απολακυψον, αποκαλυπτω
αποσειμπανως, απολιμπανως
αποστατησαντα, αποστατεω
βουονται, βουλομαι
βρωθη, βιβρωσκω

If nobody comments on a word, I will be inclined to consider it a spelling error for the word supplied in its relative position in the verse.

So for round 2, I am listing all of the words for which I have no suggested word. For these there is no similar word in its relative position, so anything you can suggest is welcome.

Several other variants read πανπληθει here, rather than παμπληθει, I assume these are just variant spellings?

I think επουξ may be an error in your listing. It didn't match my transcription of P46. When I did a search to find the section in question (for some reason I couldn't find it in CSNTM), I stumbled on this article which has a clear picture of the text in question. For what little it's worth, I agree with him that the reading seems clear. http://evangelicaltextualcriticism.blog ... n-p46.html

To me, this notation isn't completely consistent. For αλεκτυων, αλεκτρυων, the second word corrects a misspelling. For βρωθη, the original word is correctly spelled and is a form of βιβρωσκω. For βουονται, the correct spelling is βουλονται, which is a form of βουλομαι. I think you know that, but the meaning of the second column isn't at all obvious to me, which makes it a little harder to follow.

Bezae appears to have a corrector that inserts ηγα into ολιων to form (I suppose) ολη γαιων. Assuming the worst (i.e. a scribal conjecture and not a correction to match an exemplar) it is still a better guess than I would've come up with.

For what it's worth, here are three tools that are pretty helpful for exploring possibilities:
  • The CNTR links (see Alan's latest post) show the readings of various manuscripts, which often have very similar meaning and offer great hints
  • Logeion lets you type in the first letters of a word and see possibilities
  • Katabiblon finds some words that others don't.

Conjecture, especially mine, is nearly worthless. My best guess for ηρες is that it was supposed to be a form of αἴρω, although it would be fun to conjecture a mistake for a word like εἴρω.

ἐμμενῶς. LSJ give the uncontracted form of the adverb as ἐμμενέως. Is the word-order okay to put an adverb between a verb and a pronominal subject? I think that that would be a fundamental word order problem to be avoided.
ἐσφράγισεν ἐμμενῶς αὐτὸν
