Are there grounds for taking εἶδον as imperative in Rev.6?

Are there grounds for taking εἶδον as imperative in Rev.6?
Is there any suggestion from other sources that εἶδον could be an imperatival form of the verb if used in direct speech?

Probably not. You are suggesting the 2nd aorist is taking a first aorist ending.

Isn't the imperative ἴδε?
