One resource I use is this series on the Psalms:

Here is Psalm 1,

Psalm 50 and

Psalm 118.

The text scrolling up is useful to understand words that I'm not familiar with aurally.

I find it useful to play 3 or 4 texts (these or others) at the same time, to improve my ability to follow a line of conversation in a distractive environment, and to generally develop parallel processing. A monolingual distractive envuronment has a different effect on thinking than a multilingual one. Playing just one line at a time generally results in my mind being distracted. I find the cycle of attention when there is speech followed by non-attention when there is silence, and so on again as there is speech followed by silence.

I haven't used it, but FWIW, here is John as well.

I just tried to access this link and it's broken. Did anyone here download the files while they were available?

John Simon (from Austin, Texas) reads the entire Greek New Testament here:

(He also has Hebrew and Latin content there.)

I found this via a handy list of Greek audio by Louis Sorenson here:

I downloaded the LXX files and they were very well done. I think the set is complete except for a few of the Psalms. I hope that Bible.is will be able to put them back up at some point. They were originally at the Vivlos site (Greek Bible Society) which used Flash player. Adobe announced they will no longer support Flash, so that will have to change for them. And you have to have extra software to use the site (Vivlos) with a Mac.

Since they made these freely available, it probably would be okay to share them. I'll check the file sizes. Maybe I could put them up on my Dropbox account and share them from there.

Below are some recordings that overlap largely with what's been posted in this thread. Unfortunately, as Ken Penner already noted, the "Septuaginta" recording is not currently available. I was able to download it while it was still available, but I'm not sure about its copyright restrictions now that it's unavailable.

GNT read by Theo Karvounakis (Scrivener 1881[?]): GNT read by Apostolos Vavylis (Ancient 1904 Ecumenical Patriarchal Text):

GOT (translations/versions) and 'Apocrypha' read by Apostolos Vavylis (Septuaginta LXX):
http://listen.bible.is/GRKAVS/Gen/1/N

A number of Greek recordings are posted here:

I've posted these and some Hebrew recordings on the Logos forums and elsewhere before: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/76 ... spx#929148

In addition to what you already shared, this recording of the Palaia Diathiki / Septuaginta (AVS) was created by (or at least distributed by) the Orthodox Media Network with a copyright or publication date of 2014(?). I'm not completely sure, however, because the metadata for the files list the year (of recording?) as 2013. It's also been a while since I looked up these details. Here's the website you mentioned:

Good news! Ben Kantor noticed that the Vavylis recording of the "Septuaginta" is back on Bible.is: OT: Septuaginta LXX NT: Antoniades Patriarchal Edition (1904-1912).

Hmmmm .... what were the results? Any way to get LXX recordings? I'm working on LXX this year.

James, thanks for reminding me of this. I apologize for not following up earlier.

It turned out that the available upload speeds are not sufficient. The best alternative, for now, is to put them on a flash drive or memory card and send them via postal mail.

I’ll send you a PM with my address. You can send me a new flash drive or memory card, and I’ll load the files and send them to you. The capacity needed is 2.14 gigabytes.
